Hey, Wayfarer Vans fans and friends—announcing the First Annual Wayfarer Weekend!

In conjunction with UpaDowna (a nonprofit organization located in Colorado Springs dedicated to providing access to outdoor adventures for all), Wayfarer Vans is hosting the first annual Wayfarer Weekend July 13-16th, 2018.

The event will take place on a 60-acre ranch called Dragonfly Farm, 20 minutes south of Colorado Springs, where you can set up and camp among the grassy field or underneath the cottonwood trees—this will be ranch-style community camping.

There will be community breakfasts, dinners, bonfires and other fun activities, all sponsored by Wayfarer Vans to help create and foster relationships among current and future van owners.

The event is free and co-hosted by our friends at UpaDowna. They’ve been kind enough to lend us their family ranch and to assist with sponsorships and activities. Since this is a free event, if you attend, we encourage you to donate to UpaDowna.

UpaDowna’s mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all through events and programs that empower individuals, create healthier communities, and foster a respect for the environment.

What Happens at The Wayfarer Weekend?

The goal for this meetup is to provide a beautiful outdoor space for relaxation with activities and opportunities to meet other Wayfarer Vans enthusiasts. To share ideas, stories, and contacts—and to explore what it means to be a Wayfarer.

The event will take place over the course of four days. There will be community meals bonfires, music, fand un competitions. There will also be discussions on gear, travel locations, tips, and sponsored giveaways. You’re welcome to join any time during the event if you can’t make the entire four days.

Can I bring my dog(s)? Yes, but please know we will enforce dogs being ON a leash. This property is full of wildlife and near other ranches and ranch animals.

Can I have a campfire?  Yes, in designated fire pits. It will also depend on any fire bans that might be taking place at the time of the event.

Here’s the link to the Eventbrite page where you can purchase your ticket and see the itinerary of activities.

If you have any questions about the event, please email the folks at Wayfarer Vans.

So grab some gear, and let’s get together and camp!
